Cheng Haidong, Associate Professor of the Russian Department at Sanya University, is a visiting scholar at Voronezh State University in Russia. He has been dedicated to research in the fields of applied translation, language services, and language industry for many years. Hosted and completed one project of the Provincial Federation of Social Sciences, one project of translation teaching reform of the Provincial Department of Education, and more than 10 school level projects in scientific research, digital curriculum construction, and integration of industry and education. As a major participant, participated in multiple national social science projects, Ministry of Education's new liberal arts projects, and other research projects. Completed one translation research monograph, participated in the compilation of two tourism language service textbooks, and published over 20 papers. Won the second prize in the finals of the 8th Central and Western Foreign Language Translation Competition in 2022, the first prize in the 14th Education Technology Paper Selection in Hainan Province, and the third prize for outstanding achievements in social sciences in Sanya. Holding a Russian tour guide qualification certificate and a CATTI Russian translation first level certificate, selected as a member of the Hainan Province Public Service Foreign Language Translation Standardization Working Group, a member of the China Translation Association, a member of the National Multilingual Translation Talent Pool of the China Foreign Languages Bureau Translation Institute, and a high-level talent in Hainan Province.
