The "2024 Hainan International Language Service Industry and Talent Development Forum" is a high-end industry conference jointly organized by the Hainan Translation Association, the Language Service Research Professional Committee of the China English Chinese Comparative Research Association, the International Language Service College of Hainan Normal University, Hainan Vocational College of Foreign Languages, and Hainan Nanhai Conference Co., Ltd. It is specifically hosted by Hainan Nanhai Conference Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Haiyu Conference"). The Haiyu Conference was grandly held at the forefront of Hainan Free Trade Port, bringing together elites and experts from the language service industry at home and abroad to discuss core issues such as industry development trends, technological innovation, and talent cultivation. As a highly forward-looking and influential event in the field of language services in China, Haiyu Hui not only provides a valuable platform for the industry to exchange ideas, share experiences, and promote cooperation, but also strives to promote innovation and upgrading of the language service industry, helping Hainan Free Trade Port and even the language service industry across the country achieve higher quality development.
The theme of Haiyu Association is "Innovation, Integration, and Sharing - Building a New Ecology of Language Services in Hainan Free Trade Port", aiming to promote the development of Hainan's international language service industry, strengthen the training and exchange of language service talents, and assist in the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port. The forum structure of the Haiyu Conference presents a "1+3+4" model, where "1" represents the opening ceremony and main forum of the Haiyu Conference; 3 "is a sub forum with three themes, namely: innovation and development of language service industry system under RCEP framework, artificial intelligence achievements and applications driven by multilingual demand, and language service talent cultivation and career planning in the era of artificial intelligence; '4' refers to four concurrent events, namely: the award ceremony for the 'Hainan Free Trade Port Language Service Contribution Award'; Roadshow Promotion Conference on Cutting edge Technologies and Applications of "Driving the Future" AI Large Models; Language Service Practice Exchange Conference on "Overcoming Language Barriers and Helping Enterprises Go Global"; The "Haiyu Association" is jointly composed of research and communication.
